How to Email Slips Using a Google App Password
Google uses two-factor authentication to enhance account security; once an account uses this method, the original password will no longer be accepted. What this means is that existing Google account passwords will need to be replaced with Google generated App Passwords when using Gmail to email recipient slips with eForms.
Here's how to do that:
- Open Google's Sign in with App Passwords page in an Internet browser
- Follow the instructions to create a unique App Password for the Google account, select "Other (Custom name)" as the app type
- Store the App Password in a secure location for future reference
- Replace the existing Gmail password with the new App Password wherever it is used; no other Gmail account settings will need to be changed
And you're finished!
