Preparing Reports
The Reports Centre
From the Home Screen use: 4. Reports > View and print reports
From the Menu use: File > Reports > Reports Centre
The Reports Centre is the central location from which to prepare all slips, summaries and XML submissions (and many of eForms’ internal reports) from the data in the current data file. Reports not included on the Reports Centre can be accessed from the Reports menu.
The Reports Centre
Select Return Type
Select the type of return for which to prepare the report, only a single return type may be selected.
Select Report Type
Select the type of report to be prepared for the selected return type.
Slips - Displays the reports available for the slips of the slected return type; these include:
- Return type Slips - Prepare slip reports using the default format, typically in two-up (two slps / page) format
- 3 Slips / Page - Prepare slip reports using the three-up (three slips / page) format
- Slip instructions - Prepares a report of the return type instrucitons
Other Reports - Displays other reports available for the selected return type; these include:
- Summary - Prepare the summary for the selected return type
- Edit list - Show all/selected data in tabular format for all slips of the selected return type
- Invalid SIN/ID Report - Display a list of invalid SIN & ID numbers
Other Actions - Displays other functions available for the selected return type; these include:
- Create XML - Create the XML file for the selected return type
- Email Slips - Email slips (created with Separate PDF for Each Recipient) to their recipients< br />
Status Reports - Displays satus reports; including:
- Filing Status - Display filing status for selected companies
- XML History - Display XML filing history for selected companies
- Company Statistics - Display the average number of slips/returns for all companies in the data file
- Company Summary - Display all/selected company information for al/selected return types
