About the New eForms User Guide

Introduction

Long time AvanTax eforms users could be surprised to see a rather signigicant change in the format of the 2025 eForms user guide. For a very long time, we’ve been wanting to update the user guide to a more contemporary format, and we’ve finally found the tools to let us move forward. This has also given us the opportunity to fully update the user guide and to give it a layout similar to the Workflow tabs on the Home Screen.

We are quite pleased with the result, and we hope that this new user guide will make your hard work in January and February less of a chore. Please contact us with any suggestions or comments you may have about the new user guide, we’d sure like to hear them.

Features

Features of the new eForms user guide include:

• The text AvanTax eForms User’s Guide (top left of page) links to the first page of the guide
• The black bar (top of page) links the most recent eForms release
• The AvanTax icon (top right of page) links to the AvanTax eForms website
• The topics sidebar (left side of page) displays all major topics in this guide
• A greater-than (>) sign beside a topic indicates sub-topics
• The On This Page sidebar (right side of page) displays major sections of the current topic
• The Search documentation… bar (top right of page) searches this entire guide as you type
• Links at the bottom of each page of the guide open the next and previous pages in the guide
• The guide is fully integrated into the Guided Tours panel of eForms 2025, letting you access any part of the guide, with full search capability, right from inside eForms
