Find Data File

From the Menu use: Setup > Find Data File

The Find data file tool is used to find an eForms data file from the current or previous years when its definite location is no longer known.

Find a 2025 Data File

The year of the data file to be located is displayed as T25N (or T24N, if you want to find a 2024 data file to convert for 2025) at the top left of the Find data file screen. eForms data files are in the format filename.T25N, where filename is the name given by the user to the data file.

The Find data file tool will search all selected drives and storage locations to find data files for the specified year.

Open Folder - When one or more data files are displayed, this button can be used to open the folder containing the currently highlighted data file
Open Data File - When one or more data files are displayed, this button can be used to open the currently highlighted data file
Specify - The “Browse” button at the bottom of the screen will become active when this box is checked, allowing you to indicate a specific folder in which eForms will search for a data file, rather than searching entire hard disks, when some idea of the data file’s location is known.
