Copying a Company Within a Data File

From the Home Screen use: 2. Companies > Manage companies > Copy a company
From the Menu use: File > Company > Manage companies > Copy a company

Use Copy a company to copy a company within the current data file.

Copy Company Options

Do not copy slips - If this option is checked, no slip data in the company being copied will be copied into the target company
New company name - Enter the name to be given to the company once it has been copied
New company tag (optional) - Enter the Company Tag to be given to the company once it has been copied; this is optional

Select the company to be copied, then press the green “Copy selected company” button to copy the company.

Changes made using this tool cannot be undone unless you use “Backup Data File” to create a backup before proceeding.
